SEASONAL CHOCOLATE SPECIALS IN BRUSSELS

Every month we create a new seasonal chocolate special at The Unusual, and every month people lose their minds over it. Thats not an exaggeration — our Instagram followers literally ask us on the 1st of each month what the new flavor is.

Our seasonal chocolate specials in Brussels rotate based on whats in season, whats fun, and honestly whatever our team feels like experimenting with. In autumn we've done pumpkin spice dark chocolate, spiced orange hot chocolate, and a chestnut chocolate that was so popular people were annoyed when it ended. Winter brings peppermint chocolate, gingerbread hot chocolate, and our Christmas special which is always a secret until launch day.

Spring and summer get lighter flavors — lavender white chocolate, strawberry dark chocolate, coconut milk chocolate. Last summer we did a mango ruby chocolate that had people from Sainte-Catherine walking all the way to Rue Montagne aux Herbes Potagères 49 just for that one drink. It was wild.

These seasonal chocolate specials are only available for one month. When they're gone, they're gone. Some come back the next year, some don't. It keeps things interesting and gives people a reason to visit us regularly instead of just once.

We announce every new seasonal special on our Instagram (@theunusual.brussels), usually in the first week of the month. If your visiting Brussels and you want to try whatever the current seasonal chocolate special is, just ask at the counter. The staff will tell you all about it — they usually helped create it.
