MOCHA COFFEE DRINKS IN BRUSSELS
The Unusual Brussels — Chocolate Café

A mocha is supposed to be chocolate and coffee together. Simple. But most places in Brussels use chocolate syrup from a bottle and call it a day. At The Unusual on Rue Montagne aux Herbes Potagères 49, our mocha coffee drinks are made with actual Belgian chocolate and specialty espresso. Thats the difference.
We pull our espresso shots from Wide Awake beans — smooth, balanced, with just enough bitterness to stand up to the chocolate. Then we melt real chocolate into the drink. You can choose which chocolate: milk for something sweet and classic, dark for a more intense mocha, or even ruby chocolate if you want something fruity and unique. Most cafes near Grand Place give you one mocha option. We give you six.
Our mocha coffee drinks can be hot or iced. The iced version is really popular from April to September — especially with people walking around the Ilôt Sacré who need a cold drink but also need caffeine and chocolate at the same time. We see you. We understand that need.
You can also customize your mocha with different milks (oat, cow, or Not Milk), add whipped cream, throw in some salted caramel syrup, or go wild and add a shot of Baileys. The mocha is probably the most customizable drink on our menu because both the coffee and chocolate components can change.
People visiting from Brussels Central Station or the Bourse area are usually surprised that a mocha can taste this different from what they're used to. Real chocolate makes a real difference. Its not just coffee with brown syrup — its an actual coffee and chocolate experience.
