DARK CHOCOLATE SELECTION IN BRUSSELS
The Unusual Brussels — Chocolate Café

If you like dark chocolate and your in Brussels, The Unusual on Rue Montagne aux Herbes Potagères 49 is where you want to be. We dont just have one dark chocolate — we have a proper dark chocolate selection that goes from rich and fruity to straight up intense.
Our 54.5% dark chocolate has sweet and sour cocoa with hints of wild dark berries. Its the one most people start with. Bold enough to feel like real dark chocolate, but not so intense that it scares off the milk chocolate crowd. We use it in our signature "Dark Chocolate Solace" hot chocolate — thats the one with chocolate syrup inside and out, topped with froth and cocoa powder.
Then theres the 80% extra dark. This one is not messing around. Robust cocoa, woody bitters, zero sweetness. We use it in our "Blackdeath" hot chocolate which also has a shot of Kahlua. Its called Blackdeath for a reason. Only for people who actually like dark chocolate, not people who say they do but really mean 50%.
Our dark chocolate selection in Brussels is all Belgian-made. Real cocoa, proper processing, no cheap fillers. You can taste these chocolates on their own, in our hot or cold chocolate drinks, or if you want to go really deep, in our chocolate workshop upstairs where you learn to work with them.
Visitors walking from Grand Place or coming out of Brussels Central Station often tell us they didn't expect to find this kind of dark chocolate selection in a cafe. Most of the chocolate shops in the Galeries Royales sell pralines — great for gifts, but not the same as sitting down with a properly made dark chocolate drink.
Rue Montagne aux Herbes Potagères 49, between Grand Place and Central Station. Thats where the dark chocolate is.
