CHOCOLATE DRINKS IN BRUSSELS
The Unusual Brussels — Chocolate Café

When people search for chocolate drinks in Brussels, they usually end up at a tourist spot near Grand Place paying 8 euros for something made from powder. At The Unusual on Rue Montagne aux Herbes Potagères 49, our chocolate drinks are made with real Belgian chocolate — melted, not mixed from a packet.
We have six different chocolates you can choose from. White chocolate (28%), gold caramel (30.4%), milk chocolate (33.6%), ruby chocolate (47.3%), dark (54.5%), and extra dark (80%). Each one makes a completely different drink. The ruby one is naturally pink and tastes like dried strawberries. The gold one is all toffee and salted caramel. They're all real.
You can get any of our chocolate drinks hot or cold. Hot is the classic — melted chocolate, your choice of milk, topped with froth. Cold chocolate drinks are perfect in summer, especially with the ruby or white chocolate. We also have signature chocolate drinks like the "Gold Rush" with salted caramel and the "Ruby Chocolate Fantasy" with strawberry puree and whipped cream.
Or you can build your own. Pick your chocolate, pick your milk (cow, oat, or Not Milk), add syrups, toppings, even a shot of espresso or Baileys. Its your drink, we just make it happen.
People coming through Brussels Central Station or walking around the Ilôt Sacré find us pretty easily — we're between the station and Grand Place, and most of them say our chocolate drinks are the best they had in Brussels. We don't say that ourselves. Our Google reviews do.
If your in Brussels city centre and you want a chocolate drink thats made properly with Belgian chocolate, skip the tourist traps near Manneken Pis and walk to Rue Montagne aux Herbes Potagères 49. Two minutes from Grand Place, and the chocolate drinks are worth every step.
