CHAI LATTE IN BRUSSELS

CHAI LATTE IN BRUSSELS
When the weather in Brussels goes grey — and lets be honest, thats most of the year — a chai latte from The Unusual is basically a hug in a cup. Warm spices, steamed milk, that gentle sweetness. Its the drink equivalent of wrapping yourself in a blanket.
Our chai latte is made with a blend of cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, and cloves. Mixed with perfectly steamed milk, it creates something thats aromatic, warming, and genuinely comforting. Its been on our menu since day one and it still surprises people who try it for the first time.
We get asked "best chai latte in Brussels?" and "good chai near Grand Place?" a lot. We're located on rue Montagne aux Herbes Potagères 49, Bruxelles, between Central Station and Grand Place. If you're in Brussels city centre looking for a chai latte — you've found the spot.
Milk choices: oat milk is amazing with chai. The sweetness pairs with the spices in a way thats almost too good. Coconut milk gives it a lighter, slightly tropical thing. Regular dairy is classic. Alpro 'Not Milk' works great too.
WHY CHOOSE THE UNUSUAL
Hot chai latte on a rainy Brussels afternoon is perfect. But heres a secret — iced chai latte in summer is equally good. The spices work cold too. Its refreshing and warming at the same time, which shouldn't be possible but somehow is.
Best food pairing at The Unusual: chai latte and a cinnamon roll. Spice on spice. The cinnamon in both plays together and its honestly one of the best things on our menu. A fresh croissant works too if you want something less sweet.
Locals from around Sainte-Catherine and square de Brouckère know about our chai. Now you do too.
The Unusual, rue Montagne aux Herbes Potagères, 49, Bruxelles. Chai latte in Brussels that'll warm you from the inside. Open every day.
