Our mixology classes at The Unusual teach you the basics of cocktail making in a fun, hands-on way. No textbook stuff. Just shaking, stirring, tasting, and having a good time.
On Rue Montagne aux Herbes Potagères 49 in Brussels city centre, our bar becomes a classroom. Sort of. You learn about spirits, balancing flavours, proper techniques, and then you make your own drinks. And yes, you get to drink them. Thats the best part of any class, honestly.
Mixology classes are perfect for group events. Birthday celebrations, team building, bachelor and bachelorette parties, or just a fun night out with friends who want to do something different. We've hosted groups from all over Brussels — corporate teams from the EU Quarter, friend groups from Ixelles, hen parties from all over Europe.
Our bar team knows their stuff. They'll walk you through the process, share tips, tell you what works and what doesn't, and make sure you leave knowing how to impress people at your next house party. Or at least how to make one really good drink. Cockail workshops are part of our Tipsy Tour that, on top of cocktail making will take you to other bars downtown Brussels to paint some Manneken Pis statues and pair beer with chocolates! CAN I JOIN IF I DON'T DRINK ALCOHOL?
Yes, of course! The Tipsy tour is all about discovering Brussels in a unique way while making friends! If you don't drink alcohol we will provide you a non-alcoholic cocktail workshop and non-alcoholic beers; we don't have an alternative for the shot. The cost is the same.
IN WHAT LANGUAGE ARE THE TOURS?
All our tours are in English as that's the most international language in Europe! We can do tours in other languages for private groups (min. 12 participants).
ARE DRINKS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?
Yes! The ticket price includes one cocktail, 2 beers, one shot, a fun guide for 2.5h, 2 Belgian chocolates that match the beers, and a 3cm tall Manneken Pis statue to take home.
