LOCAL BEER IN BRUSSELS

The Unusual Brussels

You're in Brussels. If you're gonna drink beer, it should be local beer. Not something shipped from the other side of the world. At The Unusual on Rue Montagne aux Herbes Potagères 49, our beer menu is built around local and Belgian breweries because thats what makes sense here.

We pour ou local "Unusual Pils" on tap as well as another "premium draft" option. But that's not all, we also have a large selection of Belgian blondes, tripels, IPAs brewed right here in Belgium — the good stuff. Our bottle list also features beers from breweries across the country. Each one is selected because it tastes great and has a story worth telling. Our bar team knows the breweries, the styles, and the flavor profiles. Ask them anything.

A lot of tourists come to Brussels wanting to try "real Belgian beer" but end up at tourist traps near Grand Place drinking mass-produced lagers. Thats fine if thats your thing, but if you actually want to taste what Belgian brewing culture is about — come to Rue Montagne aux Herbes Potagères. We're two minutes from Grand Place and the beer is way better.

Locals from Marollen, Sainte-Catherine, and around Bourse already know us for our local beer selection. Regulars have their favorites. New customers trust our recommendations. We like that relationship.

"Local beer near Grand Place?" or "Belgian beer bar in Brussels centre?" — yes, right here. Open every day. Fair prices. Real Belgian beer. None of the tourist markup.

The Unusual, Rue Montagne aux Herbes Potagères 49. Local beer in Brussels, poured with pride.
